Editorial Policy

Afaq Al-Ma'rifa Journal is committed to the highest standards of quality and academic integrity in its publishing process, in accordance with international standards for peer-reviewed journals. The editorial policy below outlines the principles and procedures followed by the journal to ensure the objectivity and transparency of scientific research:

Scope and Objectives of the Journal
The journal publishes peer-reviewed scientific research in the following disciplines:

- Humanities

- Applied Sciences

Priority is given to research that provides new scientific contributions or solutions to research problems.
Editorial Responsibilities

A. Editor-in-Chief

General oversight of the journal's scientific and editorial policy.

Making the final decision regarding the publication of research after peer review.

Ensuring impartiality, transparency, and the absence of conflicts of interest.

B. Editorial Board

Reviewing submitted research to ensure its compliance with publication requirements.

Selecting specialized peer reviewers and coordinating the peer review process.

Following up on the required amendments from researchers before publication.

C. Reviewers

Scientifically review research according to the criteria of originality, methodology, importance, and clarity.
Submit detailed peer review reports and propose acceptance, modification, or rejection.
Maintain confidentiality of information and prevent its exploitation for personal purposes.

. Principles of Academic Integrity

Fair Review: Double-Blind Peer Review is applied to ensure objectivity.

Confidentiality: Authors' identities are not revealed to the reviewers or vice versa.

Non-Discrimination: Research is reviewed solely based on its scientific quality, without bias based on the author's nationality or institution.

Preventing Conflicts of Interest: Any reviewer or editor with a personal or research relationship with the author is excluded.

4. Publishing and Open Access Policy

Open Access: Research is published freely for reading and downloading to ensure the dissemination of knowledge.

Copyright: Authors retain the rights to their research, with the journal being granted first publication.

License: Research is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, allowing sharing with credit.

5. Dealing with Ethical Violations

Plagiarism: Plagiarism detection tools (such as Turnitin) are used, and research papers that exceed the permitted citation limit (20%) are rejected.
Forgery or Data Tampering: If any forgery is discovered after publication, the paper is withdrawn and announced.
Conflicting Sources: Authors are required to disclose any funding or support that may affect the research results.

6. Correction and Retraction Policy

If an error is found in a published paper, clarifications or corrections are published in the next issue.

In serious cases (such as forgery), the paper is officially withdrawn from the electronic archive with a notification to readers.
